I love my profession, and like everyone else, I’m just trying my best not to mess up my own life while helping others navigate theirs.

And then there are moments – quiet, unexpected, unforgettable – that remind me how meaningful this work can be.

One of those moments began with a spontaneous call from a new client – a successful, full-time working woman with a seemingly happy life. Everything was in place, except one thing: she longed for a second child, and her doubts overwhelmed her. We had an intense, emotional session.
